Top 5 books for entrepreneurs to read in 2019
They say that the average person in the world reads around 2 books a year but entrepreneurs are not average, they don’t operate like the average person, they don’t settle for an average lifestyle and they certainly don’t fall for all the bullshit they were taught in school and college about being average.
Entrepreneurs go the extra mile all the time to become better than average and they do that by reading books. They read more books a year than watching movies. There are stories about how successful people would read a book in a month every month and some have even gone to the extreme to read a book a day.
So here are my top 5 books for 2019 and beyond:
1. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
This book is a must read for all entrepreneurs, small business owners and college students. It is a compiled biography of the most successful and powerful people in American history. It shows how the road to riches starts from just a thought.
2. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
This is the autobiography of Robert Kiyosaki, a self-made, super successful entrepreneur. In this book Robert talks about the life lessons he learnt from his 2 Dads, his real dad who lived a humble but poor life and his friend’s dad who was one of the richest person in Hawaii.
3. Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins
This is a motivational book that will inspire you to work hard and what you can do if you really believe in yourself.
4. The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone
This book shows you the way to really take your performance in any sector to a whole new level. The name of the book pretty much explains itself, it’s all about doing your tasks with 10 times more effort.
5. Crushing it! By Gary Vaynerchuk
This is the perfect book if you are in the online industry and especially if you are trying to leverage social media platforms. Gary teaches how to use and take advantage of most social media platforms to build yourself a brand and a massive following.
